Snowflake Design

My group, World of Charity Stitching, is creating a quilt made of these beautiful Snowflakes.  This chart was created by Brooke Nolan of Brooke's Books, another group where I am a member.

The members chose what colors to use in the blue, lavender, or gray families.  The white floss was B5200, the bright white color.

This took quite a while to finish, but I kept on stitchin' and finally completed it.  It has over 5,000 stitches, which is the most I've stitched on one project in a long, long time.

We  have about 25 signups for this theme already, which is a really good startOur quilter will create two quilts from this theme and possibly be able to make a couple of pillows to go along with them.

The quilts will be donated to a senior care facility when they are finished.
