This is a brand new year of stitching and I have finished one of my commitments for Love Quilts for a little boy named Alexander, who loves anything having to do with outer space. I found this chart in my Calendar-a-Day packet and thought it was perfect for this theme.Now, I'm on to the next square for charity. I'm working on a small piece for WOCS, a Great Blue Heron, which I'll make into either a walker tote or I might try this one on a wheelchair tote for one of the senior men.
This year we are trying to stitch squares that can be made into useful items for the seniors and children.
